Good weather seal 2014-03-12
I needed a good black weather seal for a convertible top on my 11 year old Corvette. This Rubber Foam Strip was exactly what I was looking for. It can be cut to exactly the right length and even spit down the middle if you don't need a wide seal. I did use Permatex black adhesive on the back of the weather seal since I was not sure the sticky strip on the back of this product was up to the task of wind, heat, and cold. I am very pleased with the product and the wind noise is gone. Water is even kept out better in a downpour or at the car wash. Convertibles can be interesting to say the least. Thank you Amazon for having what I wanted. It is working well.Pleased with this weatherstripping, used it to replace some worn seals on my toyota. It went on easily and the amount provided is adequate for doing two doors on my car. Attached it with permatex weatherstrip adhesive and it shows no sign of coming off. Don't bother with the tape as it is junk. It seems to be crushing down very quickly however, so not certain about long-term quality yet.
