Rubber O-Ring Feedback 2014-02-27
Betty WiederholdI accidently threw away my Silicon O-Ring gasket seal from my Oster blender when I had washed it in the dishwasher. I found theRubber O-Ring at the bottom of the dishwasher and not realizing what it was I threw it away! The next time I used my blender I realized the o-ring was missing and that was when I realized I had thrown it away! I found this 3pack of o-rings and it was advertised that it would work for my blender. It is a perfect fit; I have 2 extra in case I ever mistakenly throw one away again. It arrived in the mail ahead of the predicted arrival time. Shipping was very inexpensive. I am overally extremely pleased. Thank you so very much.

One morning I was blending up my mason jar breakfast smoothie and heard a terrible noise. Alarmed, I stopped the blender and unscrewed the base. To my horror found that somehow the rubber ring had slipped up into the mason jar and was cut in half by the blades. I didn't get to have my smoothie that morning and I was late to work. I was so upset because I just KNEW that I would have to buy a new blender because replacement parts seem to be a rarity these days. I was also upset because that would mean that I would be on my third blender (with the first one, the pitcher broke and I could not find a replacement for it). I was so upset that I decided to try and hunt a replacement ring down. I was so happy to find these on Amazon. Not only are they cheap, but they send you a pack of three. They work just as well as the original NBR O-Ring and I have comfort in knowing that replacement parts do in fact exist for my Oster blend. One year later, I still have the two unused rings in my drawer.
